With this amazing covered arena, your event will take place, regardless of the weather. Once a deposit is made, you can request to reschedule, but there are no refunds for cancellations.
No, we currently can not acquire the liability insurance to cover this activity due to the newness of our company. The grounds would have to be staffed during the entire time we have the event. We are still trying to acquire the insurance and will the website as soon as this changes.
Yes, we offer block riding time for individuals/groups in 60 minutes blocks. See the block riding tab on this website.
There are scoreboards and PA systems at both arenas.
It is unlawful to fly drones on County of San Diego property without prior authorization from the County of San Diego. An application must be filled out, insurance provided, and approval from the County of San Diego, no less than 4 days prior to your event.
Yes, alcohol is allowed in our event space. However, it will be event-specific with a permit. No glass allowed on premises.
Yes, when the center is not leased out, we have a minimum of 4 open riding sessions a month. Join our mailing list to get alerts on dates and time.
Yes, follow the link in your confirmation email to cancel or reschedule. If less than 24 hours notice given, their are no refunds, but you can reschedule to any open times available.
Gates will be open 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. You must be loaded up and leaving the property no more than 15 minutes after your scheduled time ends or additional charges will be incurred.
Your reserved time will not be reserved. Payment must be received at time of booking unless prior arrangements have been made.
Helmets are required to be worn by all participants 17 and younger anytime you are on a horse. This applies whether you are in an arena or riding anywhere on the property.
Yes. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Owner must maintain control of their dogs while on the property.
Yes. you are responsible for cleaning up any manure/shavings/hay before exiting the property. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
Equine Event Services is contracted by the County of San Diego to manage the Diane Jacobs Equestrian Center. Per the contract Equine Event Services is financial responsible for maintaining proper insurance, maintenance of arena and grounds, utility costs, and staffing of the facility. To offset these costs we have minimum charges to utilize the facility. We make every attempt to keep our rates affordable and hope that with our on going effort to obtain sponsors we can offer "free" riding times in the future.
